| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The Carterville High School varsity cheerleaders |
3 |
| recently placed second in the IHSA State Competition, first in |
4 |
| the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association State |
5 |
| Championship, and were the IHSA Highland Sectional Small |
6 |
| Varsity Champions; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, The top five teams at each of five sectionals |
8 |
| throughout the State advanced to the State Competition; from |
9 |
| there, 25 teams competed in the preliminary round, and the top |
10 |
| 10 advanced to the finals; Carterville was in the small school |
11 |
| division, based on school enrollment; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, The Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association |
13 |
| holds regional competitions throughout the State for |
14 |
| advancement to the Championships; Carterville placed first at |
15 |
| the Vienna Regional and advanced to the State level, where the |
16 |
| team competed and won first place in the small varsity |
17 |
| division; and
|
18 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Carterville High School varsity |
19 |
| cheerleading squad are Randi Burgrabe, Lindsey Lively, Blayn |
20 |
| Bollman, Mallary Eadie, Katherine Hendricks, Kali Bonner, |
21 |
| Kelli Greenlee, Kayla Hines, Callie Hood, Sarah Keim, Mallory |
22 |
| Earls, and Alexis Meyer; they are led by coaches April Bittle |
23 |
| and Debbie Johnson; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
25 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
26 |
| we congratulate the Carterville High School varsity |
27 |
| cheerleaders on their recent success; and be it further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
29 |
| presented to each of the varsity cheerleaders and coaches at |
30 |
| Carterville High School as an expression of our esteem.
