| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, Ronell Hilton DeLoncker, co-owner of Jim's Towing |
3 |
| and Automotive, has been chosen as the 2006 Altrusa |
4 |
| International Club of Elgin's Woman of the Year; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, The Woman of the Year award is given annually to a |
6 |
| woman in the community who is not a member of Altrusa, but who |
7 |
| exemplifies the Altrusa keys of amity, loyalty, talent, |
8 |
| reciprocity, unity, service, and achievement; and
|
9 |
| WHEREAS, Ms. DeLoncker has worked with the Elgin Junior |
10 |
| Service Board for eight years; she has also volunteered with |
11 |
| the Women's Organization for Wellness (WOW), PEO, the U-46 |
12 |
| Dental Survey, the Sherman Hospital Auxiliary, Easter Seals, |
13 |
| the Special Olympics, Community Crisis Center Boys and Girls |
14 |
| Club, and many other organizations; and
|
15 |
| WHEREAS, She is currently serving as WOW president, Sherman |
16 |
| Hospital Auxiliary vice president, Central High School Post |
17 |
| Prom chairman, and as a member of PEO; and
|
18 |
| WHEREAS, She is the co-owner of Jim's Towing and Automotive |
19 |
| with her husband, Robert, where they have worked together for |
20 |
| 23 years; they have two children, Nicole and Daniel; she |
21 |
| volunteers her time at her children's schools as well, as a |
22 |
| reading mom, math center helper, and room mom; and
|
23 |
| WHEREAS, Ms. DeLoncker will be honored for her commitment |
24 |
| to service at the Altrusa International Club of Elgin's 57th |
25 |
| annual celebration on Thursday, May 18, 2006; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
27 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
28 |
| we congratulate Ronell DeLoncker of Elgin on being named the |
29 |
| 2006 Altrusa International Club of Elgin's Woman of the Year, |
