| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
2 |
| WHEREAS, It is the privilege of this Body to recognize |
3 |
| citizens of the State who have made extensive contributions to |
4 |
| their community; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, After 30 years of dedicated public service, Kay |
6 |
| Pugh of Salem has retired from her volunteer position on the |
7 |
| Little Egypt Festival Parade Committee, which she served as |
8 |
| Parade Chairman; and
|
9 |
| WHEREAS, Marching bands and floats took their places in the |
10 |
| Little Egypt Parade, the centerpiece of the Little Egypt |
11 |
| Festival, on Saturday, October 1, 2005, when Mrs. Pugh served |
12 |
| for the final time as a member of the parade committee; |
13 |
| therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
15 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
16 |
| we congratulate Kay Pugh on the occasion of her retirement |
17 |
| after 30 years of service on the Little Egypt Festival Parade |
18 |
| Committee, and we thank her for her many years of serving the |
19 |
| public in a volunteer capacity; and be it further
|
20 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
21 |
| presented to Mrs. Pugh as an expression of our respect and |
22 |
| esteem.
