Proposes to amend the Legislature Article of the Illinois Constitution. Provides that no bill that has the effect, directly or indirectly, of diverting money from the Road Fund shall become law without the concurrence of at least three-fifths of the members elected to each house.

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE |

| SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that there shall be submitted to the |

| electors of the State for adoption or rejection at the general |
| 7 |
| election next occurring at least 6 months after the adoption of |
| 8 |
| this resolution a proposition to add Section 8.1 to Article IV |
| 9 |
| of the Illinois Constitution as follows:

| THE LEGISLATURE

| SECTION 8.1. ROAD FUND DIVERSIONS. |

| No bill that has the effect, directly or indirectly, of |
| 15 |
| diverting money from the Road Fund shall become law without the |

| SCHEDULE

| This Constitutional Amendment takes effect upon being |
| 20 |
| declared adopted in accordance with Section 7 of the Illinois |

| Constitutional Amendment Act.
