| HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, During the 94th General Assembly, the Joint Task |
| 3 |
| Force on Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education Options was |
| 4 |
| established to undertake a comprehensive and thorough review of |
| 5 |
| education and services available to the deaf or heard of |
| 6 |
| hearing children in Illinois; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, The Joint Task Force was to report its findings |
| 8 |
| and recommendations to the General Assembly no later than |
| 9 |
| January 1, 2007; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, The Joint Task Force needs additional time to |
| 11 |
| complete its work; therefore, be it
|
| 12 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 13 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE |
| 14 |
| SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that that the Joint Task Force on |
| 15 |
| Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education Options shall submit a |
| 16 |
| report, as established in its authorizing resolution, no later |
| 17 |
| than December 31, 2007; and be it further
|
| 18 |
| RESOLVED, That with this reporting extension, the Joint |
| 19 |
| Task Force on Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education Options shall |
| 20 |
| continue to operate pursuant to its enabling resolution.
