| on page 2, line 14, by changing "15" to "16"; and

| on page 3, by replacing lines 1 through 4 with the following:

| "RESOLVED, That the Committee shall study and examine |

| issues related to prisoners sentenced to life without parole |
| 8 |
| and prisoners sentenced to terms in excess of 30 years; and be |

| RESOLVED, That the Committee in its deliberations shall |

| always give priority to public safety and the best use of State |
