    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

   Section 5.  In addition to all and any other amounts appropriated for that purpose for fiscal year 2007, the amount of $18,000,000, or as much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Central Management Services from the General Revenue Fund for merit compensation employees of State government. 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
