Makes a supplemental fiscal year 2006 appropriation to the State Treasurer from the Hospital Basic Services Preservation Fund for collateralization of loans in accordance with the Hospital Basic Services Preservation Act. Effective immediately.

BALANCED BUDGET NOTE ACT MAY APPLY

$TREASURER HOSPITAL SERVICES

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. In addition to all other amounts appropriated to the State Treasurer for fiscal year 2006, the amount of $5,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Hospital Basic Services Preservation Fund to the State Treasurer to collateralize loans from financial institutions for capital projects as stated in the Hospital Basic Services Preservation Act.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
