Makes appropriations to the Board of Trustees of Governors State University for its ordinary and contingent expenses.  Effective July 1, 2006.

    AN ACT making appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5.  The following amounts, or so much of those amounts as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and purposes named, are appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of Governors State University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the University for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2007:

  For Personal Services........................ $22,272,800

  For State Contributions to

    Social Security, for Medicare.................. 100,000

  For Contractual Services....................... 3,050,000

  For Commodities.................................. 150,000

  For Equipment.................................... 400,000

  For Telecommunications........................... 100,000

  For Awards and Grants............................ 100,000

  For Permanent Improvements....................... 100,000

Total                                           $26,272,800

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2006.
