| with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. |

| 1, on page 2, line 12, by replacing "Not later than" with the |

| following: |

| "In addition to the other requirements of this Section, the |
| 7 |
| school board must publish a notice in the newspaper no later |
| 8 |
| than January 15 annually. The notice must be no less than |
| 9 |
| one-eighth page in size. The smallest type used in the notice |
| 10 |
| must be no less than 12-point type, and the notice must be |
| 11 |
| enclosed in a black border no less than one-fourth inch wide. |
| 12 |
| The notice must be placed in that portion of the newspaper |
| 13 |
| where legal notices and classified advertisements appear. The |
| 14 |
| notice must be published in substantially the following form:

| The annual Statement of Public Affairs for (insert school |

| district's legal name) will be available on the Illinois |
