SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 		













105 ILCS 25/5 new










    Amends the Interscholastic Athletic Organization Act.  Provides that, with respect to post-season tournaments, the Illinois High School Association may receive no more than 15% of the gross receipts from the tournament, with the remainder going to the host school.  Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning schools.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Interscholastic Athletic Organization Act 
5
is amended  by adding Section 5 as follows:

    (105 ILCS 25/5  new)

    Sec. 5. Allocation of gross receipts from tournaments.  With 
8
respect to post-season tournaments, the Illinois High School 
9
Association may receive no more than 15% of the gross receipts 
10
from the tournament, with the remainder going to the host 
11
school.

    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
13
becoming law.
