SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
P.A. 93-842, Art. 54, Sec. 280
Amends Public Act 93-842, "AN ACT making appropriations". Appropriates $197,000,000 (instead of $173,000,000) from the USDA Women, Infants and Children Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants for free distribution of food under the WIC program. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. “AN ACT making appropriations”, Public Act 93-0842, approved July 30, 2004, is amended by changing Section 280 of Article 54 as follows:
