Creates the Medigap Premium Reimbursement Act. Establishes the Medigap
Premium Reimbursement Program, to be administered by the Department of Public
Aid.
Provides that under the program, a person who is 65 years of age or older and
who
purchases and pays the premiums for a policy of Medicare supplemental
("Medigap")
insurance that contains a prescription drug benefit is entitled to receive $25
per month
from the State for each month that he or she pays those premiums, as a reimbursement of
a part of the cost of the insurance coverage.

| AN ACT in relation to aging.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the |
5 |
| Medigap Premium
Reimbursement Act .
|

| Section 5. Reimbursement program. The Medigap Premium |
7 |
| Reimbursement
Program is established. Under the program, a |
