SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $40,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for a cost-of-living adjustment for workers at community mental health or developmental disabilities services agencies. Effective July 1, 2005.

AN ACT making appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $40,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for a cost-of-living adjustment for workers at community mental health or developmental disabilities services agencies.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
