SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $2,000,000 for FY06 from the Fire Prevention Fund to the Illinois Fire Service Institute for providing first responders with the practical knowledge necessary to protect themselves when securing a site in which methamphetamine is being manufactured. Effective July 1, 2005.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $2,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Fire Prevention Fund to the Illinois Fire Service Institute for providing first responders with the practical knowledge necessary to protect themselves when securing a site in which methamphetamine is being manufactured.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
