| AN ACT concerning criminal law.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| represented in the General Assembly:

| Section 5. The State's Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor's |

| Act is amended by changing Section 4 and by adding Section 4.11 |

| as follows:

| Sec. 4.11. Education seminars for prosecutors. The Office |
| 13 |
| of the State's Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor shall conduct |
| 14 |
| education seminars for prosecutors throughout the State on how |
| 15 |
| to prosecute cases in drug court with a specific emphasis on |
| 16 |
| cases involving the illegal possession of methamphetamine.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on July |
| 18 |
| 1, 2005.
