| I move to accept the specific recommendations of the |

as to House Bill 3480 in manner and form as follows:

| AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3480
|

| IN ACCEPTANCE OF GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATIONS
|
| 6 |
| Amend House Bill 3480 on page 7, by replacing lines 6 and 7 |
| 7 |
| with the following: |
| 8 |
| "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 9 |
| becoming law, except that the changes to Section 17-1 of the |
| 10 |
| School Code take effect on July 1, 2006.".
