Amends Public Act 93-842. Appropriates $1,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the Secretary of State for grants to private-sector senior driver safety programs. Effective immediately.

AN ACT making appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. “An Act making appropriations”, Public Act 93-842, approved July 30, 2004, is amended by adding Section 27 to Article 44 as follows:
(P.A. 93-842, Art. 44, Sec. 27 new)
Sec. 27. The amount of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the Secretary of State for grants to private-sector senior driver safety programs.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
