    AN ACT concerning finance.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by

changing Section 50-50 as follows:

    (30 ILCS 500/50-50)

    Sec. 50-50. Insider information. It is unlawful for any 
8
current or
former elected or appointed State official or State 
9
employee to knowingly use
confidential information available 
10
only by virtue of that
that office or employment
for actual or 
11
anticipated gain for themselves or another person.
