AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1578

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1578 on page 1, by

replacing lines 11 and 12 with the following:
4
    ""Pharmacy" means a pharmacy owned or operated by a 
5
facility as defined in this Act or operated by a person with 
6
whom such a facility has contracted for the provision of 
7
pharmacy services."; and

on page 6, line 30, after the period, by inserting the 
9
following: "The Department shall take all appropriate steps to 
10
ensure that the adverse health care event reporting system is 
11
fully operational within 2 years after the effective date of 
12
this Act.".
