SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 		













20 ILCS 2905/2.1 new










    Amends the State Fire Marshal Act.  Authorizes the Office of the State Fire Marshal to charge a reasonable fee to review plans for compliance with applicable State adopted fire safety codes. Provides that the Office of the State Fire Marshal may promulgate reasonable rules to administer the program. Provides that  all fees collected by the Office of the State Fire Marshal shall be deposited into the Fire Prevention Fund.

    AN ACT concerning  safety.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The State Fire Marshal Act is amended  by adding 
5
Section 2.1 as follows:

    (20 ILCS 2905/2.1  new)

    Sec. 2.1. Plan review. The Office of the State Fire Marshal 
8
is authorized to charge a reasonable fee to review plans for 
9
compliance with applicable State adopted fire safety codes. The 
10
Office may promulgate reasonable rules to administer the 
11
program.  All fees collected by the Office shall be deposited
