Amends the State Property Control Act. Provides that all funds received from the sale of any surplus real property (land or building) previously used as a mental health center must be deposited into the Mental Health Fund. Effective immediately.

| AN ACT concerning finance.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The State Property Control Act is amended by |
5 |
| adding Section 8.3 as follows: |

| (30 ILCS 605/8.3 new) |

| Sec. 8.3. Sale of State mental health center. |
8 |
| Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act or any other |
9 |
| law to the contrary, all moneys received from the sale of all |
10 |
| or part of any State owned land, building, or both that has |
11 |
| been used as a State mental health center and that has been |
12 |
| determined to be surplus real property must be deposited into |
13 |
| the Mental Health Fund.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
15 |
| becoming law.
|
