| AN ACT concerning local government.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Regional Transportation Authority Act is |
| 5 |
| amended by adding Section 3B.09b as follows:
|

| Sec. 3B.09b. Bicycles on commuter trains. Beginning no |
| 8 |
| later than 60 days after the effective date of this amendatory |
| 9 |
| Act of the 94th General Assembly, the commuter rail division |
| 10 |
| must adopt rules to allow commuters to bring bicycles onto |
| 11 |
| trains. At a minimum, bicycles must be allowed on trains during |
| 12 |
| non-rush hours and on weekends.
