Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the General Not For Profit Corporation Act of 1986. Provides for open meetings for the listed type of meetings of the board of directors of a residential not-for-profit homeowners association. Effective immediately.

House Amendment No. 1

	Adds reference to:
	805 ILCS 5/2.35	from Ch. 32, par. 2.35

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the provisions of the engrossed bill with the following changes. Provides that the open meeting requirements for the listed meetings of the board of directors apply to all not-for-profit homeowners associations or residential cooperative not-for-profit corporations (instead of to residential not-for-profit homeowners associations or cooperatives containing 24 or more units). Also amends the Business Corporation Act of 1983 by providing that certain requirements concerning meetings of the board of directors of a residential cooperative corporation apply to any residential cooperative (instead of residential cooperatives containing 24 or more units). Makes other changes. Effective immediately.
