| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of James Kesman of Plainfield |
4 |
| on November 7, 2004; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born September 17, 1918 in Chicago; and
|
6 |
| WHEREAS, He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II; he |
7 |
| was retired from Reynolds Aluminum; and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, He was a long-time member of the Plainfield |
9 |
| American Legion Post #13, the Plainfield Lions Club, and the |
10 |
| Plainfield Historical Society; and
|
11 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna; his |
12 |
| parents; and one brother; and
|
13 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of James Kesman will be felt by all |
14 |
| who knew and loved him, especially his son, James D. (Barbara) |
15 |
| Kesman; his daughter, Cindy (Walt) Obman; his grandchildren, |
16 |
| Jill (Keith) Filipiak, Christian Kesman, and Mike and Stacie |
17 |
| Obman; and his great-grandchildren, Elle and Paige Filipiak; |
18 |
| therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
20 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
21 |
| James Kesman along with all who knew and loved him and we |
22 |
| extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends during |
23 |
| their time of bereavement; and be it further
|
24 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
25 |
| presented to the family of James Kesman as an expression of our |
26 |
| deepest sympathy.
