| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Lena A. Mason of |
4 |
| Springfield, formerly of Edinburg, on November 12, 2004; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born June 9, 1915 in Bologna, Italy, the |
6 |
| daughter of Luigi and Olimpia Fabbri Sabattini; she married |
7 |
| Glenwood Mason in 1937; and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, She worked at Memorial Medical Center and was a |
9 |
| member of Church of the Little Flower; and
|
10 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, |
11 |
| Glenwood; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Lena A. Mason will be felt by all |
13 |
| who knew and loved her, especially her son, Dwight "Bud" (wife, |
14 |
| Sandra) Mason; her five daughters, Glenna and Barbara Mason, |
15 |
| Patricia (husband, John) Sabo, Marsha (husband, Mike) Blair and |
16 |
| Carol Henderson; her 13 grandchildren; her 23 |
17 |
| great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren; her |
18 |
| three brothers, Vic, Louis (wife, Wanda), and Ashel "Sam" |
19 |
| Sabattini; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and |
20 |
| great-nephews; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
23 |
| Lena A. Mason and extend our sincerest condolences to her |
24 |
| family and friends; and be it further
|
25 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
26 |
| presented to the family of Lena A. Mason as an expression of |
27 |
| our deepest sympathy.
