| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |

| learned with regret of the death of Avis C. "Chris" Bauman of |
4 |
| Belleville at the age of 69 on October 10, 2004; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born May 16, 1935 in Paducah, Kentucky; |
6 |
| and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace |
8 |
| Catholic Church; the Junior Wednesday Club; the St. Clair, |
9 |
| Paducah and Bradenton Country Clubs; MAC; and was a past |
10 |
| president of the Lawyer Wives and chairman of the Claymont |
11 |
| Court Association; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her father, Stenston |
13 |
| Moore; and
|
14 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Avis C. "Chris" Bauman will be felt |
15 |
| by all who knew and loved her, especially her husband, John D. |
16 |
| Bauman; her sons, Mark D. (Maura) Bauman, Jeffrey P. (Judy) |
17 |
| Bauman, and Tom J. (Donna) Bauman; her mother, Tommye Lillian |
18 |
| (nee Harper) Moore; her brother, Stenston H. Moore; and her |
19 |
| grandchildren, John C. Bauman, Michael J. Bauman, Elizabeth J. |
20 |
| Bauman and Ryan M. Bauman; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
23 |
| Avis C. "Chris" Bauman and extend our sincerest condolences to |
24 |
| her family, friends and community; and be it further
|
25 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
26 |
| presented to the family of Avis C. "Chris" Bauman as a token of |
27 |
| our deepest sympathy.
