SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate have learned
3 with great sadness of the death of Elizabeth "Betty" Trovato on
4 August 19, 2004 at the age of 67; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Mrs. Trovato served the city of Burbank for many
6 years as a city employee, 4th Ward Alderman, and City Clerk;
7 and
 
8     WHEREAS, Burbank Mayor Harry Klein remembered Mrs. Trovato
9 as "a wonderful woman" who "served with honesty and integrity";
10 and
 
11     WHEREAS, Mrs. Trovato was preceded in death by her loving
12 husband Peter Trovato, her death is a great loss to her sons
13 Peter and Bill Trovato, her daughters Rosanne Crossen and Mary
14 Wrobel, her sister Collette Carroll, her brother Joe Carroll,
15 her 14 grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews;
16 therefore, be it
 
17     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
18 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we express our deep
19 sorrow at the passing of Elizabeth Trovato and that we offer
20 our heartfelt sympathy to her family; and be it further
 
21     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 delivered to her family with our condolences.
