| SENATE RESOLUTION
|
2 |
| WHEREAS, We have learned with sadness that Betty Lou Bacon, |
3 |
| of Peoria, Illinois, passed away on October 4, 2004, at the age |
4 |
| of 76; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Bacon was born in Newton, Iowa on February |
6 |
| 17, 1928, the daughter of Walter J. and Edith Townsend Molleck; |
7 |
| and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, on October 16, 1949, Betty Lou was married to |
9 |
| Robert W. Bacon, and their union lasted nearly 50 years before |
10 |
| Robert's death in February 1996; she was also preceded in death |
11 |
| by her daughter, Jeanette McDonald; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Bacon was a loving mother and grandmother and |
13 |
| an upstanding citizen of this State; and
|
14 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Bacon's passing has been deeply felt by many, |
15 |
| especially her sons, Robert Jr. (Rose) Bacon, and Rick (Kim) |
16 |
| Bacon; her two brothers, Robert (Eloise) Molleck of Canton and |
17 |
| David Molleck of Prescott, Arizona; her one sister, Catherine |
18 |
| Molleck of Oak Harbor, Washington; and her four grandchildren; |
19 |
| therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
21 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we express our deep |
22 |
| sorrow at the passing of Betty Lou Bacon, that we offer our |
23 |
| heartfelt sympathy to her family, and that we join her family |
24 |
| and friends in honoring her memory; and be it further
|
25 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
26 |
| delivered to the family of Betty Lou Bacon with our sincere |
27 |
| condolences.
