SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 were saddened to learn of the death of Mary Lou Behme of
4 Carlinville on May 28, 2004; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Mary Lou Behme was born December 2, 1934, in
6 Carlinville, the daughter of Frank B. and Victoria R. Beasley
7 Link; she married Carl A. Behme on April 11, 1953, in
8 Carlinville; and
 
9     WHEREAS, She was a secretary for Carl Behme Farms, taught
10 Confraternity Christian Doctrine at Ss. Mary & Joseph Catholic
11 Church, and was superintendent for the Macoupin County Fair for
12 30 years; and
 
13     WHEREAS, Mrs. Behme was a member of Ss. Mary & Joseph
14 Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters, Macoupin County 4H,
15 the Extension Council, and the Illinois Pork Producers where
16 she was awarded the Elanco Bell Ringer Award; and
 
17     WHEREAS, The passing of Mary Lou Behme will be deeply felt
18 by many, especially her husband, Carl; her daughters, Susan L.
19 (Dr. Lawrence Eugene) Jeisy, Sharon L. Behme (fiance Keith
20 Missey), Annette M. (James D.) Bellm, Carol A. (Randall L.)
21 Tillman, and Jennifer L. (Jerry D.) Titus; her sons,
22 Christopher A. Behme, Jeffrey A. (Julie M.) Behme, and Gregory
23 C. (Stefanie) Behme; her brother, Norman (Mary) Rosentreter;
24 her sisters, Bernice (Edward) Reichers, Julia (Fred) Grace, and
25 Victoria Klaus; her 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and
26 nephews; and
 
27     WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents; her
28 brothers, Harold and Charles Link; sister, Eileen; and four
29 grandchildren; therefore, be it

1     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
2 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
3 Mary Lou Behme along with all who knew and loved her and extend
4 our sincere condolences to her family and friends; and be it
5 further
 
6     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7 presented to the family of Mary Lou Behme as an expression of
8 our deepest sympathy.
