| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Barbara A. "Ms. Tax" Brace |
| 4 |
| (nee McKenzie) on Saturday, April 24, 2004; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Barbara A. Brace has been deeply |
| 6 |
| felt by many, especially her children, Lawrence, Karen, and |
| 7 |
| Kevin Brace; her husband, Regis L. Brace; and her siblings, |
| 8 |
| Patricia (Albert) Ebner and Robert McKenzie; she was a devoted |
| 9 |
| aunt, great-aunt, and friend to many; her grandchild, Nichole, |
| 10 |
| preceded her in death; therefore, be it
|
| 11 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
| 12 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 13 |
| Barbara A. "Ms. Tax" Brace, and we extend our sincere |
| 14 |
| condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved |
| 15 |
| her; and be it further
|
| 16 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 17 |
| presented to the family of Barbara A. Brace as an expression of |
| 18 |
| our deepest sympathy.
