| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Lillian Audrey Heintz of |
4 |
| Alton on Saturday, March 27, 2004; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Lillian Walsh was born on October 28, 1922, in St. |
6 |
| Louis, Missouri, to William and Lillian (Sands) Walsh; she |
7 |
| married Victor Heintz Jr. on June 23, 1943, at Saints Peter and |
8 |
| Paul Catholic Church in Alton, where the couple remained |
9 |
| long-time members; he preceded her in death February 19, 1968; |
10 |
| and
|
11 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Heintz graduated from Marquette Catholic |
12 |
| High School in 1940 and later attended Shurtleff College and |
13 |
| Southern Illinois University in Carbondale; prior to |
14 |
| retirement, she was employed at Brown Shoe Company and as a |
15 |
| deputy Circuit Clerk in the East Alton and Wood River Circuit |
16 |
| Courts; she will always be remembered for her gentle spirit and |
17 |
| disposition, sweet smile, and her blue eyes; and
|
18 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Heintz considered her 8 children, 23 |
19 |
| grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren her greatest joys and |
20 |
| accomplishments; and
|
21 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Lillian Audrey Heintz has been |
22 |
| deeply felt by many, especially her daughters and sons-in-law, |
23 |
| Barbara and Don Crowson, Marilyn and Jim Davis, Fran and Paul |
24 |
| Ventimiglia, and Terri and Jim Cranmer; her sons and |
25 |
| daughters-in-law, Victor and Dr. Barbara Heintz, Dr. William |
26 |
| and Ellen Heintz, and Charles and Beth Heintz; her son-in-law, |
27 |
| David "Rick" Whalen; her grandchildren and spouses, Aaron and |
28 |
| Sharon Whalen, Christopher and Laura Crowson, Andrea and Tom |
29 |
| Pierce, Todd and Tara Crowson, Michelle and Andrew Spond, Scott |
30 |
| and Nancy Davis, Amy and Mike Batton, Eric Heintz, Laura |
