| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with great sadness of the death of Kevin Lamont Troupe |
| 4 |
| on September 14, 2003; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Kevin Lamont Troupe was born on September 16, |
| 6 |
| 1982, to June Brandon and Richard Baker in Gary, Indiana; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Troupe attended Zion Baptist Church and was on |
| 8 |
| the Usher Board; as a youth, he participated in the Boy Scouts |
| 9 |
| of America and attended Roosevelt High School; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Kevin Lamont Troupe has been deeply |
| 11 |
| felt by many, especially his mother, June Brandon; his |
| 12 |
| daughter, ShiAnn Marie Polk; his sister, Pamela R. Tillman; his |
| 13 |
| brother, Stephen Baker; his sister, Angela Marie Troupe-Gunn; |
| 14 |
| and his brother-in-law, Stephen Gunn; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
| 16 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 17 |
| Kevin Lamont Troupe, and we send our sincere condolences to his |
| 18 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 19 |
| further
|
| 20 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 21 |
| presented to the family of Kevin Lamont Troupe as an expression |
| 22 |
| of our deepest sympathy.
