| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Benjamin Espinoza Perez, |
| 4 |
| lifelong resident of Ecuandureo, Michoacan, Mexico, on January |
| 5 |
| 10, 2004; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Perez was a dedicated and successful |
| 7 |
| businessman in the beverage industry; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Perez was the much admired and respected |
| 9 |
| father-in-law of our colleague, Senator Martin A. Sandoval, |
| 10 |
| 12th Legislative District; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Perez was the patriarch of the Perez family, |
| 12 |
| including his beloved wife, Marina, 11 cherished children, |
| 13 |
| including Marina Sandoval Espinoza, wife of Senator Martin A. |
| 14 |
| Sandoval, 17 special grandchildren including, Martin, Angeles, |
| 15 |
| and Jennifer Sandoval, and 6 treasured great-grandchildren; |
| 16 |
| and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Countless people mourn the passing of this |
| 18 |
| wonderful gentleman who lived a full life, always giving freely |
| 19 |
| of his time and energy to family, friends, and chosen social |
| 20 |
| and civic organizations; therefore, be it
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
| 22 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we extend our sympathy |
| 23 |
| and condolences to the family of Benjamin Espinoza Perez; and |
| 24 |
| be it further
|
| 25 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 26 |
| presented to the family of Benjamin Espinoza Perez as an |
| 27 |
| expression of our deepest sympathy.
