| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate were saddened |
3 |
| to learn of the death of Lucinda K. "Cindy" Davidson of Plano |
4 |
| on January 18, 2004; and |
5 |
| WHEREAS, Lucinda "Cindy" Davidson was born on August 29, |
6 |
| 1949 in Evanston, the daughter of Otto G. and Ethel Lenia |
7 |
| Agnita (Anderson) Linke; she
was employed for many years as |
8 |
| both a Registered Radiological Technologist and a Registered |
9 |
| Nurse; and |
10 |
| WHEREAS, In 1984, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in |
11 |
| Anthropology from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb; she |
12 |
| was united in marriage on January 31, 1988 in El Cajon, |
13 |
| California, to then Yorkville mayor, Mr. Robert E. "H.D." |
14 |
| Davidson, Jr. and they spent the next 15 happy years of their |
15 |
| lives together; she later worked for a time at his business, |
16 |
| H.D. Pump and Backhoe Service on Hydraulic Avenue in Yorkville; |
17 |
| and |
18 |
| WHEREAS, The couple started a game bird farm outside Big |
19 |
| Rock in the early 1990s and in the first year hatched some |
20 |
| 2,000 pheasants; the farm now hatches some 500,000 birds a |
21 |
| year; and |
22 |
| WHEREAS,
Mrs. Davidson had a great love of the outdoors and |
23 |
| nature; she enjoyed spending time hunting with her best friend |
24 |
| and companion, Ammo, her dog; and |
25 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Davidson was a loving wife, mother, |
26 |
| grandmother, sister, and aunt, who will be deeply missed by her |
27 |
| family and many friends, especially her sweetheart, best |
28 |
| friend, and husband, Robert "H.D." Davidson; her daughters, |
29 |
| Robin (Joel) Redman and Kelly (Jeff) Woods; her grandchildren, |
30 |
| Michael, Matthew, and Jenna Redman and Alex and Jeff Woods; her |
