| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |

| learned with great sadness of the passing of Rose Mary A. (nee |
4 |
| Dunn) O'Shea of Willow Springs on December 23, 2003; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. O'Shea, a retired Village Clerk of Willow |
6 |
| Springs, was currently serving as Village Treasurer; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. O'Shea was a member of the Willow Springs |
8 |
| Lioness Club, the Willow Springs Senior Club, the Willow |
9 |
| Springs Historical Society, and the Municipal Clerk |
10 |
| Association; she was the proud recipient of the Senior Citizen |
11 |
| Medal of Honor 2003; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Rose Mary A. O'Shea will be deeply |
13 |
| felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her beloved |
14 |
| husband, Ralph; her children, Rose Mary, Beth DiVirgilio, and |
15 |
| Mary Jane (Frank) Manella; her grandchildren Damen, Nicolette, |
16 |
| Antoinette, and Dolores; her siblings, Mary Sibyl Dunn, Ann Ita |
17 |
| (Thomas) Coughlin, and Robert (Joyce) Dunn; her niece, Valerie |
18 |
| (Joe) Ocenas; her great-nephews, Daniel and John Ocenas; her |
19 |
| sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Josephine (Louis) Smith, |
20 |
| Theresa Bidinger, Dolores (Robert) Smith, Paul Olszewski, and |
21 |
| Reginald (Donna) Olszewski; and she was a fond aunt and |
22 |
| godmother to many other nieces and nephews; Mrs. O'Shea was |
23 |
| preceded in death by her parents, her brother and sister, G. |

| Russell (late Rose Mary) Dunn and Betty Jane Gresham; her |
25 |
| sister-in-law, Marie (late Henry) Duszka, and her |
26 |
| brother-in-law, Don Bidinger; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |

| all who knew her, the passing of Rose Mary A. O'Shea of Willow |
