093_SR0332 LRB093 14432 RAH 20121 r 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of 3 Illinois learned with regret of the passing of James "Bob" 4 Fagan of Wadsworth and formerly of North Chicago, on November 5 5, 2003; and 6 WHEREAS, James Fagan was the son of the late James "Bud" 7 and Anna "Maxine" Fagan; he served his country in the United 8 State Marines Corps during the Korean War; and 9 WHEREAS, Mr. Fagan owned and operated Bob's Place, Little 10 Pete's, and Mr. B's Lounge in North Chicago and most 11 recently, Fagan's Squaw Creek Park; and 12 WHEREAS, Mr. Fagan was a former President of the Lake 13 County Tavern Owners Association, and helped form the Fox 14 Lake Rotary Club and served as its first full time President; 15 and 16 WHEREAS, The passing of James Fagan has been deeply felt 17 by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife, Sally 18 (nee Burtzos) Fagan; his sons, James "Rob" Fagan, Steve 19 Werner, Ronald (Cathy) Werner, and Mike Werner; his 20 grandchildren, Angela Renee, Stephen and Stuart Werner, 21 Jonathon and Jason Werner, Caryn and Cory Werner, and 22 Jennifer and James Robert Fagan IV; his brother, Charles 23 (Brenda) Fagan; and his sisters, Geraldine (the late Hearl) 24 Casey, Jean (George) Coffos, JoAnn (Carl) Cepon, Judy (Ed) 25 Fojtik, and JoDell (Dale) Meier; and 26 WHEREAS, Mr. Fagan was preceded in death by a son, George 27 Werner; a grandson, Alan Michael Werner; a sister, Janet 28 Cullum; his parents, James "Bud" and Anna "Maxine" Fagan; 29 nephews, Jeff Coffos and Charles Cullum; and a niece, 30 Kimberly Swanson; therefore, be it 31 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL -2- LRB093 14432 RAH 20121 r 1 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 2 all who knew him, the death of James Fagan of Wadsworth; and 3 be it further 4 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 5 presented to the family of James Fagan as an expression of 6 our sincerest condolences.
