093_SR0315 LRB093 14378 KEF 19999 r 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of 3 Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of Judith A. 4 Boente of Carlinville on November 10, 2003; and 5 WHEREAS, Mrs. Boente was born October 4, 1929 in 6 Carlinville, the daughter of Truman and Reba Sawyer 7 Perrottet; she married Stephen G. Boente on August 6, 1949 at 8 St. Mary's Catholic Church; and 9 WHEREAS, Mrs. Boente was a 1947 graduate of Carlinville 10 High School and a 1949 graduate of Blackburn College with a 11 teaching degree; she taught at Oakland country school and 12 later was a homemaker; and 13 WHEREAS, Mrs. Boente was a member of Saints Mary & Joseph 14 Catholic Church, St. Mary's Choir, and Carlinville Public 15 Schools Foundation; she was past president of Macoupin Center 16 for the Developmentally Disabled; and 17 WHEREAS, Judith Boente's passing will be deeply felt by 18 many, especially her four sons and daughters-in-law, Steven 19 and Denise Boente, David and Denise Boente, Mark and Kim 20 Boente, and Paul and Shannon Boente; her three daughters and 21 sons-in-law, Cathy and Duka Dill, Rebecca and Jim Salske, and 22 Stephanie and Alan Dillard; her 21 grandchildren, Nathan 23 Tucker, Andrew Tucker, Teri Chapman, Derek Dohm, Chaney 24 Salske, Matthew Salske, Callie Salske, Meagan Dillard, Sarah 25 Dillard, Erin Boente, Elyse Boente, Stephen Boente, Melissa 26 Boente, Ryan Boente, Sean Boente, Chelsea Boente, Dane 27 Boente, Bryce Boente, Alec Boente, Madison Boente, and 28 Abigail Boente; her four great-grandchildren; her two sisters 29 and brothers-in-law, Jean and Dan C. Pressler and Mary and 30 Charles Wetzel; and several nieces and nephews; and 31 WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, -2- LRB093 14378 KEF 19999 r 1 Stephen; and two daughters, Judith E. Boente and Jane Boente; 2 therefore, be it 3 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL 4 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing 5 of Judith A. Boente along with all who knew and loved her and 6 extend our sincere condolences to her family and friends; and 7 be it further 8 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 9 presented to the family of Judith A. Boente as an expression 10 of our deepest sympathy.
