 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois  learned  with regret of the death of Irma P. Izzard
 4    on Monday, October 13, 2003; and

 5        WHEREAS, The passing of Irma P. Izzard  has  been  deeply
 6    felt  by  many,  especially  her  children,  Dr.  Raymond  A.
 7    (Bettye), Charles (Barbara), and Gary A. (Elaine) Pierce; her
 8    sister,  Thelma  Gibson;  her  brother,  Adolphus Lomans; her
 9    grandchildren,  Raimonda,  Emily,  Michael,  Angela,   Craig,
10    Anthony  Pierce,  and  Julie (David) Montgomery; and her many
11    nieces, nephews, cousins, and other  relatives  and  friends;
12    therefore, be it

13        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
14    ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the  passing
15    of  Irma  P. Izzard, and we extend our sincere condolences to
16    her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her;  and  be
17    it further

18        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
19    presented to the family of Irma P. Izzard as an expression of
20    our deepest sympathy.
