 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois  learned  with  regret  of  the  death of Cathryn S.
 4    Rhoades of Aurora on June 4, 2003; and

 5        WHEREAS, Born in Aurora, Mrs. Rhoades was a 1982 graduate
 6    of West Aurora High School and received a  bachelor  of  arts
 7    degree from Aurora University in 1987; and

 8        WHEREAS,   Mrs.   Rhoades  worked  professionally  as  an
 9    accountant first with Sikich & Gardner and later with  Dreyer
10    Medical Clinic before dedicating herself to raising her three
11    children; and

12        WHEREAS, Mrs. Rhoades was an active member of Westminster
13    Presbyterian Church in Aurora; and

14        WHEREAS,  The  passing  of  Cathryn  S.  Rhoades has been
15    deeply felt by all who knew and  loved  her,  especially  her
16    husband,  Michael;  her  daughter, Chelsea; her sons, Spencer
17    and Colin; her parents, Louis and Joyce deMartelly;  and  her
18    sisters, Louise (Jon) Borchardt, Margaret (Fernando) Ereneta,
19    Genevieve   Vormann,   Elizabeth   deMartelly,  and  Victoria
20    deMartelly; therefore, be it

21        RESOLVED, BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-THIRD  GENERAL
22    ASSEMBLY  OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing
23    of Cathryn S. Rhoades and extend our deepest sympathy to  her
24    family, friends, and community; and be it further

25        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
26    presented  to  the  family  of  Cathryn  S.  Rhoades  as   an
27    expression of our sincerest condolences.
