 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois  learned  with  regret  of  the  death  of Catherine
 4    Williams of Oswego on March 23, 2003; and

 5        WHEREAS, Catherine R. Williams was born on August 6, 1925
 6    in Sedalia, Missouri to Archie and  Sarah  (Sanders)  Turner;
 7    she  was the beloved wife of Kenneth D. Williams for the past
 8    55 years; and

 9        WHEREAS, The passing  of  Catherine  Williams   has  been
10    deeply  felt  by  all  who knew and loved her, especially her
11    husband, Kenneth D. Williams;  her  sons,  Kenneth  (Barbara)
12    Williams  and  Richard  (Donna)  Williams; her grandchildren,
13    Kendra Williams, Jared Williams,  Jason  Williams,  and  Sara
14    Williams;  and  her great-grandchildren, Luke Young and Katie
15    Schag; and

16        WHEREAS, Mrs. Williams  was  preceded  in  death  by  her
17    grandson,  John  Williams;  her  parents,  Archie  and  Sarah
18    Turner; and her sister, Noreen Turner; therefore, be it

19        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
20    ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the  passing
21    of  Catherine  R. Williams and extend our deepest sympathy to
22    her family, friends, and community; and be it further

23        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
24    presented  to  the  family  of  Catherine  R.  Williams as an
25    expression of our sincerest condolences.
