"Bud" 4 Widder of Naperville on Saturday, July 26, 2003; and 5 WHEREAS, Mr. Widder was born on November 18, 1917 in 6 Naperville to John W. and Grace (Stoner) Widder; and 7 WHEREAS, Mr. Widder was a lifelong resident of Naperville 8 and was associated with Widder Decorating of Naperville for 9 many years; and 10 WHEREAS, Mr. Widder valiantly served his country in the 11 Army Air Corps during World War II; he was a member of the 12 American Post, the Naperville Moose Lodge, and the Tiger Club 13 of Aurora; he was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church; 14 and 15 WHEREAS, The passing of John E. "Bud" Widder has been 16 deeply felt by many, especially his wife, Ethel H. (McLucas) 17 Widder; his daughter, Carole Nieminski; his son, John (Terri) 18 Widder; his grandchildren, Richard (Colleen) Nieminski, 19 Michael Nieminski, John J. Widder, and Rebecca Cooper; his 20 many great-grandchildren; his brother, Donald (Sonnie) 21 Widder; and his sister-in-law, Florence Widder; therefore, be 22 it 23 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL 24 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing 25 of John E. "Bud" Widder, and we extend our sincerest 26 condolences to his friends and family; and be it further 27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 28 presented to the family of John E. "Bud" Widder as an 29 expression of our deepest sympathy.
