 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of Robin C. Unes
 4    of Peoria on Friday, May 2, 2003; and

 5        WHEREAS,  She  was  born  on  Ocotober  1,  1964 in South
 6    Holland to David J. and Carol Glennie  Cameron;  she  married
 7    Leonard A. Unes II on August 18, 1990 in Peoria; and

 8        WHEREAS,   A   licensed   and   registered   occupational
 9    therapist,   Mrs.  Unes  graduated  from  the  University  of
10    Illinois in 1986 and completed post-graduate training at  the
11    University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center; and

12        WHEREAS,   Mrs.   Unes  was  a  member  of  the  American
13    Occupational Therapy Association, the Itoo Women's Club,  and
14    St.  Philomena  Catholic  Church  in  Peoria; she founded the
15    Blanket Babes Group, providing blankets to  new  chemotherapy
16    patients; and

17        WHEREAS,  The  passing  of  Robin C. Unes has been deeply
18    felt by all who knew her, especially her husband, Leonard  A.
19    Unes  II;  her  sons,  Daniel and Michael Unes; her daughter,
20    Catherine Unes; her brother, John Cameron;  and  her  sister,
21    Lynn Cameron-Johnson; therefore, be it

22        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
23    ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the  passing
24    of Robin C. Unes and express our sincere and deepest sympathy
25    to her family and friends; and be it further

26        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
27    presented to the family of Robin C. Unes as an expression  of
28    our condolences during their time of bereavement.
