 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois  were saddened to learn of the death of Mrs. Cecelia
 4    A. Bell on Monday, April 1, 2003; and

 5        WHEREAS, Mrs. Bell was  born  on  August  23,  1924;  she
 6    married  her  beloved, Steven Bell at their home in Richmond,
 7    Virginia; and

 8        WHEREAS, Mrs. Bell retired after many years  from  Ukrops
 9    Foods, Inc. in Richmond, Virginia; and

10        WHEREAS,  Mrs. Bell loved and was well loved by a host of
11    relatives and friends, young and old, who  mourn  their  loss
12    and celebrate her life; and

13        WHEREAS,  Her  passing  will be deeply felt by family and
14    friends, especially  her  daughter,  Elnora  D.  Daniel;  her
15    sister,  Marie  Fox;  her son-in-law, Herman Daniel; her four
16    grandchildren, Michael Darryl  Daniel  (and  Kristen),  James
17    Steven  Bell  (and Frankie), Michael McCoy Bell, and Reginald
18    Bell (and Vonda);  and  a  host  of  many  other  family  and
19    friends; therefore, be it

20        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
21    ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
22    Mrs. Cecelia A. Bell, along with all who knew and loved  her,
23    and  extend  our sincere condolences to her family; and be it
24    further

25        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
26    delivered to the family of Mrs. Cecelia A. Bell.
