093_SR0013 LRB093 04380 HSS 04430 r 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of 3 Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of Lucille A. 4 Bertels of Aurora on Monday, December 16, 2002; and 5 WHEREAS, Mrs. Bertels was born May 29, 1915 in Aurora to 6 William J. and Katherine (Backes) Heinz; she was preceded in 7 death by her husband, Reinhold, in 1971; two sons and a 8 daughter in infancy; a grandson, Christopher Voss; three 9 brothers, Brother Albert Heinz, O.S.B., Raymond Heinz, and 10 Clarence Heinz; and her sister, Bernice Zeis; and 11 WHEREAS, Mrs. Bertels was a member of the Altar and 12 Rosary Society and the VIP Club of Annunciation Church; she 13 was also a member of the Benedictine Oblates since 1955, a 14 Farm Bureau member since 1937, and a member of the Friendly 15 Center Club, the Ladies of Columbus, and the Golden Agers of 16 Holy Angels Church; she worked 13 years at the Blue Goose 17 Store in St. Charles as a manager for Burney Brothers Bakery; 18 she retired July 22, 1978; and 19 WHEREAS, The passing of Mrs. Bertels has been deeply felt 20 by all who knew her, especially her son, Edward (Kathleen) 21 Bertels; her two daughters, Joyce (Richard) Wollwert and 22 Janet (Joseph) Bugajski; her ten grandchildren, Edward 23 (Miraleine) Wollwert, Thomas (Susan) Wollwert, Ronald (Paula) 24 Wollwert, Sharon (John Paul) Idaragga, Marisa (Dennis) Voss, 25 Cynthia (Sean) Frey, and J.J., Justin, Nicholas and Gabriel 26 Bugajski; her 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, 27 nephews, cousins, and many dear friends; therefore, be it 28 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL 29 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing 30 of Lucille A.
