SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $5,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Aid for approved bed reserves at a daily rate of 75% of an individual’s current Medicaid per diem, for nursing facilities 95% or more of whose residents are Medicaid recipients and that have occupancy levels of at least 95% for resident bed reserves not exceeding 10 days. Effective July 1, 2004.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $5,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Aid for approved bed reserves at a daily rate of 75% of an individual’s current Medicaid per diem, for nursing facilities 95% or more of whose residents are Medicaid recipients and that have occupancy levels of at least 95% for resident bed reserves not exceeding 10 days.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2004.
