SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $1 from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the Secretary of State to increase public awareness of possible securities fraud.  Effective July 1, 2004.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

     Section  5.  The sum of $1, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the Secretary of State to increase public awareness of possible securities fraud.

 

Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect on July 1, 2004.
