Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Office of the Governor for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004 as follows:

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
ARTICLE 1
Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Office of the Governor:
EXECUTIVE OFFICE
Payable from the General Revenue Fund:

For Employee Retirement Contributions
Paid by Employer...................................... 0
For State Contributions to State
Employees' Retirement System.................... 574,300
For State Contributions to
Social Security................................. 389,700
For Contractual Services......................... 680,000
For Travel....................................... 140,000
For Commodities................................... 85,000
For Printing...................................... 50,000
For Equipment...................................... 5,000
For Electronic Data Processing................... 160,000
For Telecommunications Services.................. 450,000
For Repairs and Maintenance....................... 32,000
For Expenses Related to Ethnic Celebrations,
Special Receptions, and Other Events............ 110,000

Section 10. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Governor's Grant Fund to the Office of the Governor to be expended in accordance with the terms and conditions upon which such funds were received and in the exercise of the powers or performance of the duties of the Office of the Governor.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on July 1, 2004.
