    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3007 on page 8,

line 21, by changing "The clerk" to "Notwithstanding any

provision of the Clerks of Courts Act to the contrary and

subject to county board approval, the clerk"; and

on page 11, line 31, by changing "The clerk" to

"Notwithstanding any provision of the Clerks of Courts Act to 
8
