Appropriates $500,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for a grant to the Cook County Department of Public Health for a childhood obesity prevention education and awareness program. Effective July 1, 2004.

$DPH-CHILDHOOD OBESITY

 

 

 

    AN ACT making appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5.  The amount of $500,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for a grant to the Cook County Department of Public Health for a childhood obesity prevention education and awareness program.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2004.
